Today was one of the most stressful days I have had in a very long time. I had no idea that the article was being published in either of the newspapers today, so it definitely caught me off guard and put me on edge. I rarely get stressed like this, so it very taxing. Coming out in any capacity always is, but when you have no control over it, that stress is magnified.
BUT, my motto that got me through the day was “One step closer to Ellen. Just one step closer to Ellen.” And guess what, I made it through the day! Whether or not I ever meet Ellen, she got me through today and I will be forever thankful :)
